Production Log 9

The main aim of this week was to try and film the parts of our production which needed to be re filmed due to the feedback we were given  Rianne and i found it very useful to be able to film the this half term as it gave us flexibly and also for our actors. we were able to make adjustments and were able to shoot all scene to perfection to make sure the scenes flowed and we make the correct adjustments from the feedback we were given. A lot of our opening sequence had to be filmed again due to the lighting in our opening sequence. Rianne and i made sure we paid attention to detail so the lighting all shots remained constant and for the time pass we were showing the lighting had to make scene  for example we had to wait till the sun set in order to shoot the scene where the husband comes home and we had to wait till dusk to shoot the scene where the husband leaves work. We found the feedback that was given to use very useful as we are now able to re films parts that our audience did not like or understand and make it more to their liking this also helped us as we were able to identify the mistakes we made in filming, as we included too much for an opening sequence which is not conventional for a British Social Realism opening sequence. The decisions that me and Rianne made were to cut out the parts which did not create enough meaning and change some scenes to fit the conventions of a British Social Realism film as the conventions of a BSR opening sequence is to create enigma and mystery, we felt as if too much information was given away to the audience..
